Mika Sade /// Out Of My Site

by David Pearl | 07.11.13

Mika Sade‘s new album is one of those great surprises that brings a great deal of orgasm to its listeners.

The name of the album “What Do You Prefer” well suits the 11 songs included here and share Mika’s musical and personal journey and what makes her happy or sad. It’s a piano based album full of heart-breaking lyrics and thrilling melodies showing Mika’s growth as a musician and also as a performer. “Out Of My Site” (“Uf Li Me Ha’Enayim”) really stands out in this album and is one of my favorites – it’s a soulful, funky, rock’n’roll song with Mika’s voice screaming and teasing. In the beginning this song sounds like a stranger in this low key album but with time, it is clear that this is her personal and musical taste.

Watch the amazing video for “Piss Off” directed and edited by Jonathan Vardi and catch her performing with the album for the first time at “Ha Ezor” on November 12. More info HERE.
